Check BP before giving. If BP systolic is above 140, withhold medication and
notify doctor.

ACTION:
Induction of labor and contro of hemorrhage

I.M., I.V. 0.3 -lcc 1amp. added to I.V>
Side
Effects:
Hypotension, tetanic, uterine contraction may lead uterine rupture
Nursing
Implications In I.V.administration, doctor must stay with patient. Watch for
rigid uterus, or constant contraction. Frequent BP and Pulse Monitor I.V..
