SIDE EFFECTS LASIX &
DIURIL
Electrolyte disturbance, Rash, excessive weight
loss due to overdiuresis. Excessive thirst. Loss of potassium.
NURSING IMPLICATIONS
Daily weigh at the same time. Check BP daily. Potassium
replacement with IV kcl, oranges juice, bananas. Give extra fluid.
Watch muscle tone.
